My journey as a professional DJ and company owner officially started in 1998 when I was asked to DJ at my local roller rink (Pattison’s South) in Parkland, WA.
Janet Pattison (owner) told me I had a great voice for the microphone and I was more than excited for the opportunity.
I dove more into the music scene, working with Universal Music Group, promoting concerts, and quickly started making connections in the management of venues.
With my crazy schedule, I was asked to perform all around the country as well as with some music I produced. Touring was fun but exhausting, so after a year I came back to Seattle to settle in. I started working with Green RiverCommunity College’s radio program in 2002 with the Alternative Rock station and the AM EDM station. My connections booked me for events like Matt Hasselbeck‘s Holloween Fundraiser at CentryLink field.
I was also involved with Kube93, C895fm, JackFM, S
From 2004-2006 I took some time off and moved to McCall, Idaho, then to Boise, Idaho and had a few more opportunities pop-up to DJ. In 2007 I became more serious about investing in gear and working more in the industry.
My goal was to do something different, something affordable but also premium – to create a new kind of DJ company. A company that treats people with respect (for their music tastes & preferences ), shares its clients’ enthusiasm for music and for their events, and does business the right way, with every client, for every single event. Most importantly, I wanted my clients to know that they were investing their money on someone that not only knows how to DJ, but also knows how to run an event the right way. I consider myself a stress reducer. Ask me about it if you’d like.
The other DJ’s on my team are my friends who share the same passion for music & djing as I do. I didn’t find them on craigslist or train them like other DJ companies do. We are real DJs who respect our craft and the music we play. Each of us has been djing all types of events since the late 90’s acquiring the skill, experience, and music knowledge that other DJs strive for.
